With August 2015 proving to be one of the wettest recorded in Cornwall we were forced to rethink our ideas of sitting on the beach all day and look for family friendly days out in the area around Sennen Cove.
Paradise Park was recommended to us as there is a massive indoor play area and with the weather being so unpredictable this was really enticing for 8 very damp adults and children!
As far as entry goes we thought it was really reasonable coming in at £34.25 for all three of us, £14.50 for an adult and £11.25 for a child but through getting some online codes we received a £6 reduction. If you can try and check before you arrive as their website always seems to have an offer going.
The park is primarily a bird park with over 140 species but there are also farm animals, otters and plenty of dinosaurs!
We had a really enjoyable day here and if you can I would really recommend watching one of the display shows/talks. The birds are so incredibly cared for that they never fly off and are able to demonstrate some of the most amazing skills. We are still talking about the Kookaburra showing off his hunting skills with a rubber snake!
I will let our photos do the talking to describe what a good day we had!! If you are heading off to this part of the world for a half term break I would definitely recommend Paradise Park, especially as there is plenty to do whatever the weather.
